7 Pool


POOL


Hours: 9:00 a.m – 10:00 p.m. Monday through Sunday

There is no lifeguard on duty.
Persons using the pool do so at their own risk.

1.The following are not allowed in the pool area at any time:
a. Glass or breaking containers of any kind
b. Objects that disturb the full use and enjoyment by others
c. Animals
d. Soap or shampoo
e. Smoking
f. Sunflower seeds

2. Entry gates are to be kept closed and locked at all times. Lost pool keys can be replaced (by contacting property management) at a cost of $25.00 per key. The propping open of the pool gate is strictly prohibited.

3. Persons under 18 years of age are permitted ONLY when accompanied and supervised by an adult resident or owner at Cascade Gardens. Children using the pool should NOT be wearing regular diapers, but instead, plastic pants or swim diapers (swimmers), in order to prevent accidental leaks and e-coli contamination. Persons entering the pool must not be wearing “street clothes,” in order to prevent algae build-up.

4. Be considerate to your neighbors. No resident, or their guests, has the right to monopolize the pool. Residents using the pool are limited to four (4) guests per unit at any one time. Special permission for additional guests may be obtained from the Board of Directors not less than three (3) days prior to the date requested. Guests MUST be accompanied by an adult resident of the unit when they are using the pool.

5. Radios can be very disturbing to others using the facilities. The volume must be kept at moderate levels so as not to disturb others. The use of earphones is encouraged.

6. Individuals without a pool key in their possession, or not accompanied by a resident with a key, are not allowed in the pool area. To prevent vandalism and for the protection of the property every resident should be observant. If you suspect someone is trespassing, advise them that the police will be notified should they remain on the premises.

7. Lifesaving equipment (Life Rings and Pole) is not to be used for play. Safety line may only be detached to swim laps (but should be left in the water), and must be replaced immediately afterwards. All safety equipment must be kept visible and in good working order to be in compliance with the safety and health codes mandated by the county health department. The County of San Diego will close the pool if we do not conform to all requirements. A fine may be imposed for violations of safety rules.

8. Loud, dangerous, or boisterous play, running, diving, and back/front flips are not permitted. Any other activity (including public drunkenness) that interferes with others’ enjoyment IS ALSO NOT PERMITTED. Remember that the pool is near several residences, please be considerate.


9. When leaving the pool area, discard any trash you may have accumulated and leave the area ready for others to enjoy. Please be courteous and clean up after yourself.

10. The pool showers are meant to be utilized only before and after using the pool. They are not to be used instead/in-place of the unit's own showers. Make sure the showers are turned off before leaving the pool area.

11. The Board of Directors has the right to suspend the use of the recreational facilities for any rule violation.
